France to solve burqa-ban with Anthropologists help

Since 2004 no one in the public school system is allowed to wear a burqa. This has been a cause of much debate and is now in front of the parliamentary commission to decide is the burqa-ban should be extended to all public places. To figure the dilemna out the French have asked anthropology professor John Bowen was asked to testify on this matter. If a ban was to pass the 200 or so women that wear burqas as party of their daily lifestyle will most likely be faced with having to remove themselves from public places and become shutins. The ban is not expected to pass.
